Ryanna Hawkins (she/her) is currently an LPC committed to providing compassionate and explorative care to all of her clients. Her specializations include the treatment of Depression, Trauma (PTSD), Sexual Abuse, and Substance Use Disorders in adolescents, adults, and elder adults.
In treatment she integrates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing techniques to guide clients towards effectively regulating emotions, tolerating distress, improving interpersonal relationships, and observing/adjusting behaviors. Ryanna believes that obstacles and trauma separate us from our community, our support network, and ourselves, which influences her drive to connect clients with sustainable supports as part of the healing process.

Through NJ EBPI she has received training in both Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. Additionally, Through Rutgers University has received training in Strengthening Families program which significantly reduce problem behaviors, delinquency and alcohol and drug use in children, and to improve social competencies and school performance.
