Juliana is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and National Certified Counselor who is currently working towards licensure as a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Juliana received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The College of New Jersey and her master's degree in Counseling from Montclair State University. She is experienced working with adolescents, adults, and families with a wide range of substance abuse and mental health disorders. Juliana has worked in several intensive outpatient and outpatient level of care settings. She utilizes a collaborative and person-centered approach to therapy, which focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship and empowering clients to make changes that create a life worth living and promote recovery. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities in her work, such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and strength-based therapies. In addition, she enjoys traveling, reading, and learning new things in her free time.
