Devinder Mathaun de Infante is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) with a New Jersey Social Work School certification (focused on executive functioning). She has been guiding clients in the addictions field towards recovery for over 15 years. Devinder has had a life-long pursuit of being of service to those around her and has excelled in treating substance use disorders and mental health.

 

Since 2005, she has worked with teenage clients and their families in schools’ early intervention programs. Working with the families is an essential part of therapy, identifying and addressing emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues to best support teenagers and improve communications between the child and adult(s).

 

Equipped with a medical degree from the Dominican Republic, she completed her Alcohol and Other Drug Studies certificate work at Rutgers University and with New Jersey Prevention Network (NJPN). She has also worked in substance abuse recovery intensive outpatient and outpatient programs with adults, restoring health, hope, and a positive future to those afflicted with addiction.

 

Devinder is also a loving mother and wife who enjoys nature, traveling, cooking, yoga, and the arts. She is fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Spanish, and English.
