Heather is dually licensed in the state of NJ as a Professional Counselor (LPC) and Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) who has worked in the substance use and mental health field since 2009. She has provided direct care in a variety of different treatment settings including residential, acute partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient, and opioid maintenance treatment. Her past experience also includes administrative and educator roles which have contributed to her evolving knowledge of the field and associated resources.

Change is possible, but it is beneficial to acknowledge that it can be challenging and does take time. Heather places emphasis on person-centered care and meeting the individual where they are in order to make progress. Since she recognizes that each individual is unique, she utilizes different types of treatment modalities and techniques—as what works for one person, may not work for the next.
