How would you describe your Training and Education?
Erin earned her undergraduate degree in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Oregon and began her career in corporate public relations. In 2016, she transitioned to the nonprofit sector, founding the 501(c)(4) organization Women for Progress. In 2018, Erin completed her first master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management at Fordham University, a program integrating social work and business principles. She is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University and provides supervised clinical services at NJ Wellness and Recovery.
How would you describe your Professional Approach and Style?
Erin is a person-centered therapist who prioritizes building strong therapeutic alliances. She leads with empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach, creating a supportive environment where clients feel understood and empowered to explore their experiences and make meaningful change.
What areas would you say you have Expertise in?
Erin has experience supporting women and female-identifying clients, particularly those navigating depression, anxiety, and trauma. She also has experience facilitating group therapy and is expanding her work to include couples therapy.
On a Personal Note
Erin has been engaged in counseling since childhood and considers it a life-changing experience. She brings her own insights from these experiences into her work, complementing her formal training with a deep understanding of the client perspective.
