Erin earned her undergraduate degree in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Oregon and began her career in corporate public relations. In 2016, she transitioned to the nonprofit sector and founded Women for Progress, a 501(c)(4) organization dedicated to community engagement and social impact. In 2018, Erin completed her first master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management at Fordham University, a program integrating social work and business principles. She is currently pursuing her second master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University and provides supervised clinical services at NJ Recovery & Wellness.
Throughout her work in the mental health field, Erin has supported women and female-identifying clients experiencing depression, anxiety, and trauma. She has experience facilitating group therapy and is expanding her clinical focus to include couples therapy. Erin utilizes a person-centered and collaborative approach, prioritizing the development of a strong therapeutic alliance. She leads with empathy, compassion, and curiosity, offering a non-judgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their stories and create meaningful change.
Erin has been engaged in counseling since childhood and views therapy as a transformative life experience. She brings personal insight into the healing process, integrating her lived experience with formal clinical training to better understand the client perspective. Erin is passionate about helping individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward growth and emotional well-being.
