Kristen is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Kristen has experience in both inpatient and outpatient treatment settings and her areas of interest are addiction, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, relationship concerns and other life challenges. She believes that life experiences shape each individual and strives to assist clients in gaining insights to reach their highest potential and create a fulfilling life. Kristen utilizes an eclectic approach including various theoretical approaches to accommodate each individuals specific needs; Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. Kristen describes herself as having a down-to-earth nature, sense of humor and personable demeanor. She enjoys her work and believes in having a safe and healing space to work through life struggles and challenges.
